We are seeing signs of more people moving to the Dallas Fort Worth area this week.  Two people that come to mind today were from Mass. and Arizona...both are coming because of employment.  Did you know that Texas had over 1.2 million in job growth for the last 5 years and 50% of job growth in the USA the last year was in Texas.  This is a great time to invest in Texas real estate.  All 4 metro areas of the Texaplex are prospering!

A new report this week came out naming the Texaplex cities -Dallas Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio as places where homeowners are most likely to build equity during the next four years.  We are predicting that the Texaplex area will add an additional 18 million residents from years 2000-2030. The time is right to invest in Texas Real Estate. The state of Texas continues to be the bright spot in America.

What you talkin about Willis ?....is there a recession going on?  Where the heck is it?  I had a discussion the other evening with a group of Generation Y's . They made the point that if we in Texas had no outside news of how bad things are...we would not know what they were talking about.  The economy seems fine in Texas....lines are long at the restaurants...the Lexus dealership looks like they had a crowd in the showroom when I drove by this week.  I was at one of our regional offices in Southlake Town Square rencently...and I saw to Bentleys collide...just how bad are things in Texas?  

Real estate prices in Texas are a bargain...really a bargain.  All 4 metro areas of Texas are on all the lists of "Most Affordable Places".  We are not seeing the sinking prices that the rest are seeing in the USA.  I always say....We did not laugh on the way up...so we do not have to cry on the way down.  You see....prices have a hard time coming down here in Texas....because they never went up!  I never get out of my office much because I do not personally sell homes...my job is the website and the internet...but  I went to one of our suburbs to see a house that one of our great associates had listed. I could not believe it....it was $450,000...only a few years old...about 6500 square feet....7 baths...a nice theater room...a dance room all mirrored....3 car garage...granite and marble everywhere, sauna, gamerooms....it was incredible.  I would have loved to raise my kids in this palace.  Texas real estate is probably the best buy in the country.....and Dallas Texas real estate especially.

Did you know if the Dallas/Fort worth metroplex was a state....that DFW would rank number 2 in job growth this year?  That Texas would be number one and DFW right behind. Now that is amazing....that the DFW job growth this year was larger than the individual states of California, New York or Florida.   Another good reason to invest in Texas real estate.

Did you know that the DFW and the other 3 large metro areas of Texas ( Houston, Austin and San Antonio) all have relative low inventory of new homes on the ground?  DFW has a 3 month supply and the other 3 metro's have only a 2 month supply.
